HOW TO INSTALL — USE SAFARI

  1. Open arcade.freedomgeneration.com in Safari (tap the button above).
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an ↑ arrow (bottom on iPhone, top on iPad).
  3. Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  4. Open Joel's Arcade from your Home Screen and sign in. 🎮

It has to be Safari — Chrome on iPhone can't add to the Home Screen.

Joel's Arcade — Web app

Works on macOS 11 (Big Sur) and newer · Intel & Apple Silicon · needs internet

Best for older Macs. It opens the live arcade in its own window — all 20 games, your login and the leaderboards, exactly like the website. Small and quick; it loads the games online.

Joel's Arcade — Native app

Works on macOS 11 (Big Sur) and newer · Intel & Apple Silicon · plays offline

The full native arcade: all 20 games built natively (real 3D models and all), Game Center leaderboards, controller support, and it plays offline too.

Two leaderboards: sign into Game Center (your Apple ID) for the native boards, and your arcade account (same username & password as the website) to post scores to the online boards.
